KMR Services

KMR can assist you in offering a wide range of services which are available to complete your project. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs and we will discuss a range of available solutions to you.

A summary of the main options available are:

High Pressure Water Jetting:
Over time the build up of silt is likely to reduce the capacity of sewers causing bottlenecks and blockages. Flushing improves the flow of water, reducing the possibility of pollution. HPWJ 'washes' through suspended sediment; the outcome of which is dependent on flush volume, the rate of discharge, th length, slope and flow rate of the sewer and it's diameter. Ultra high pressure jetting is capable of removing tree roots and scale. High pressure jetting removes general debris like grease and silt.

CCTV Survey:
Our fully trained inspection teams provide reports using 'WinCan' for most pipelines from 75mm to 1200mm. Larger diameter sewers and culverts can be surveyed by staff with regulatory confined spaces and B.A. Certificate holders. Our WRC trained CCTV inspection teams can provide detailed reports for most types of pipeline from 75mm to 1200mm diameter. Man entry surveys for large diameter sewers or culverts can be carried out by our confined space and B.A. trained staff.

OS19X - Pipe Sewer Condition Classification

Winching and Boring:
This is a forgotten art of cleaning those pipes which pose a problem for newer combination units. This system is ideal for culverts and pipes in hard to reach fields and woodlands. there is no requirement for water or electricity and it removes the silt and debris rather than displacing it. Winching can be carried out on most dimensions or pipes. This was once the common way of removing silt and blockages before combination units arrived and is still extremely useful for those difficult to reach places.

Culvert Cleaning:
This task carried out using traditional winching techniques due to the often inaccessible locations.
